Disable checkout

Hi,

Is it possible to completely remove the checkout provided by the theme and use the one provided by your plugin on the page itself? I see that some of the visitors to the website are still able to navigate to the other cart/checkout page and that causes a bit of confusion. There is a small cart/checkout icon in the header of the site(and maybe a pop up cart aswell) i think from where the visitors click and land on the other cart/checkout page of the website. Maybe a code snippet that can do the job?
