Variable Product Emails not working correctly? Concert Ticket Links: URGENT

Hello, I am having trouble sending / assigning emails to a specific product. I have a variable product with three options. It is a virtual concert ticket. I want to send a different email that contains the link to the concert for FRIDAY ONLY, SATURDAY ONLY, or BOTH NIGHTS.

However, when I choose the product, it sends the default email. I can select the category which will override the default template, but that is problematic. I need to send a different email for each variation.

The product is the concerts – Friday Night, Saturday Night, Both Nights – I want to automatically send it to PROCESSING, immediately after customer purchases.
