WooCommerce Mult Curency Affects Store Base Default Currency

My store currency is set to Dollar but it shows Naira (NGN) as the default currency when you go on the website. Hence. giving products outrageous prices.

Note that my default shop currency was previously set to Naira but I recently changed it to Dollar but naira still remains the default store currency despite the change to dollar.

I contacted WoooCommerce support and I was informed that the likely cause is the WooCommerce Multicurrency as everything seems to work fine when the plugin is disabled.
