Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At VillaTheme, we provide WooCommerce / WordPress plugins as digital products. Because digital products can be downloaded, installed, and used immediately after purchase, they cannot be “returned” in the same way as physical goods. This refund policy is designed with that in mind, while also complying with applicable consumer protection laws in the customer’s country (where applicable and not excluded by this policy).

2. Refund request timeframe

We only consider refund requests submitted within:

  • 30 days from the date of purchase, for all VillaTheme plugins/products.

Requests submitted after this period will not be eligible for review, unless applicable law in your region provides for a longer period.

3. Before requesting a refund

If you encounter a technical issue with a purchased product, please contact the VillaTheme support team first via [support channel / support email]. Most issues, such as plugin conflicts, configuration errors, or compatibility problems, can be resolved quickly through technical support without the need for a refund.

4. Cases eligible for a refund

You may be eligible for a refund in the following cases:

4.1. The product is “not as described” or does not work as it should

If a plugin does not function as described on the product page or demo, VillaTheme will prioritise fixing the issue through an update within a reasonable timeframe. If the issue cannot be fixed, or the product is materially different from its description, you will be entitled to a refund.

4.2. The product has a security vulnerability

If a plugin contains a serious security vulnerability that cannot be patched in a timely manner, you may be entitled to a refund. If the vulnerability can be fixed, VillaTheme will release a patch as soon as possible.

4.3. Support was promised but not provided

If you purchased a technical support package or a support extension but did not receive support as promised, you will be refunded the corresponding support cost. Note: unused support extensions are non-refundable if support was fully provided during that period.

4.4. The product has not been downloaded

If you have not downloaded the product within 30 days of purchase, you may request a refund. Please provide your order/purchase code so we can verify your request.

5. Cases NOT eligible for a refund

VillaTheme is not obligated to issue a refund in the following cases (unless required otherwise by applicable law):

  • You downloaded the product but no longer wish to use it
  • The product did not meet your personal expectations or you feel the quality is not satisfactory
  • You simply changed your mind after purchase
  • You purchased the wrong product by mistake
  • You do not have sufficient technical expertise to use the product
  • The refund request is not accompanied by sufficient information/evidence to justify a valid reason
  • The product is no longer supported due to discontinued development, but you have downloaded and used it over an extended period
  • The request was submitted after the 30-day period from the date of purchase

6. How to request a refund

To submit a refund request, please:

  3. Describe the issue in detail (including screenshots or a video, if available)
