Displaying customer’s currency at checkout instead of default

I am using CAD as our default currency. Although, we are using Square to accept credit card and it has to be in CAD. We activated USD currency and displaying both currencies at the checkout page. Everything works just fine but it’s not very efficient the way it’s displayed.

I’d like to display only US visitor’s currency when they checkout (displying only USD and hide CAD but still charge in CAD) because otherwise it is not very UI friendly.

1) Is it possible to do that within the plugin?
2) If not, is it possible to do custom changes to make it?
