wrong conversion rate in checkout

im having an issue when i enable Change currency follow billing address or shipping address..

when i select a country other than me default currency country it only changes the Currency Symbol but the amount stays the same ..

it only works 100% fine when i enable Sync checkout currency but this option refreshes the page when they change the country which i dont like ..

is there any fix for this?
