Emails do not send and are displayed on our screen with “A critical error”

Hello,
I’m writing to you because the emails are not sent when it’s a custom order status (I use the YITH plugin) whereas before it worked fine.

The status of the order is modified but the mails do not go out and are displayed on our screen with “Critical error” written on it.
