Currency changing on page change.

I’ve recently installed this plugin on my site and am having a few issues.

1. When a currency is selected, the whole page reloads. Is that normal?
2. When a page is changed, the currency changes back to default currency. Does it not stay as the same currency automatically for the duration of customers visit?
