sale price automatic modification during API sync

Hello,
I have a question that I can’t find an answer to.

Please consider this scenario:
1. There is an imported product with an Aliexpress price of $20.
2. I import it with a normal woocommerce price of $35, but set a sale price for $29 (without a scheduled expiration).
3. One day, the Aliexpress price is increased to $30.

In such a case, the sale price I set would not be good anymore, since it would result in a loss.

So my question is whether the plugin handles this case in any way? Maybe removes my sales price altogether if the original aliexpress price is modified?
