Order Info Currency Info not available: “multi currency disabled”

Hi, for several of my orders when i view the Currency Info in my backend Order info page it just says:
“This order created when multi currency disabled, so base currency and rate is current info”

instead of providing the currency conversion info. sometimes it happens, and other times it display the currency info. I havent made any changes to the the multi currency app plugin during these times. please advise.
