Bulk split product variation

Hello there,

Here is my situation:
I only import products with a lot of variations (between 25 and 60 variations per product). I want all these variations to be unique products.
So far, no problems. I split the products and set ALD so that each split variation becomes a single product.

My problem is as follows:
Splitting products is quite slow in ALD (especially when there are so many variations). What’s more, importing the single products generated after a split also takes quite a long time (I have over 200 products, each with a lot of variations, and importing all the products generated, even 25 by 25, takes a long time).

So I have two options:
– Either I import the variable products with ALD (which would take a lot less time). Then I split them using a bulk edit plugin. But then I lose the link between ALD and the split variation. How can I keep this link (for product updates, orders, etc.)?
– Is there a quicker way of doing this? A setting or method that allows me to import all the variations into a single product with just a few clicks and without long loading times and without losing the link with ALD (for updates, etc.).
