Consfusion while creating order in restaurent POS

in Retaurant pos..
if we add cookable items in cart ..then the order can be sent to kitchen for cooking..but in some case customes orders cookable item + som non cookable items too like drinks..so when we add drinks to card it aslo shows send to kitchen ….can we we make not to send drinks to kitchen and only cookable items to kitchen in same order…
please help
