Filter by attributes not working properly

I noticed the filter by brands, categories and tags are working properly that when we select the value: for example Brands > Armand de Brignac (1) > then the other filters only appear valid results.

However, when I filter by Country (An attribute) for example: France (69) by volume (none of the products are 700ML, only 750ML available), but the Bottle Size filter still shows two values 700ML and 750ML instead of 750ML only.

The filters seems to be displaying all the options even when the products are not available in that attribute. Due to this, an empty page is loaded, which resulted in an error page on our website.
