giltesa.ParticipantHello,
I’m having an issue with the PayPal tracking integration feature. When I add tracking information to an order and check the “Send to PayPal” option, nothing happens — the tracking data is never sent to PayPal.
Here’s what I did:
– I created a new app in PayPal Developer Dashboard to get the Client ID and Secret, then entered those credentials in the plugin settings.
– The connection test in the plugin returns “OK”.
– However, when I add tracking to an order and enable the PayPal checkbox, the tracking information is not sent to PayPal.
– If I check the order in my PayPal account, there is no tracking number displayed.
– Also, in my PayPal app logs, I can confirm there are no incoming API requests from the plugin.
For comparison, when I use the official PayPal plugin, the tracking data is sent successfully and appears correctly in PayPal. But of course, that means I would have to enter the tracking twice — once in the PayPal plugin and once in Orders Tracking for WooCommerce.
From what I understand, Orders Tracking for WooCommerce should automatically send the tracking info to PayPal when I enable that option, but it’s currently not doing that.
Could you please let me know what could be causing this issue?
Thank you!
PS: I forgot to mention that I use the official WooCommerce PayPal plugin (WooCommerce PayPal Payments) to receive payments in the store, and all the software is updated to the latest available version.
