Hi guys,
It has come to our notice that some users have experienced discrepancies in pricing and shipping info, particularly related to the “Welcome Deal” discount applied to the first import, and Choice Delivery offer. We would like to shed light on this matter and provide some clarifications.
Issue Overview 1: Welcome Deal
You may experience a price discrepancies when updating price even though your pricing rules in Product Sync are set up correctly.
Example. If you import a produc sold at $7.47 – $12.47 on AliExpress. Then there was a product sync which is set daily, that cost price increased from $7.47 to $12.47 – $17.25
Then if you check the price on AliExpress, it is still $7.47
>> The pricing inconsistency arises due to the “Welcome Deal” discount, which is applicable only to the first purchase. from the second purchase item (even in the same order), it’s no longer available. At the moment, our plugin can’t bypass this price for the first time import and when manually sync product. But we can bypass this Welcome Deal price with API sync (auto sync feature which is advised in this documentation)
The price our plugin uses for pricing rules is the selling price, which is the final price that is applied to the buyers. It will be the sale price if there is a sale (I mean the sale that the supplier sets up themselves, not the AliExpress offer), or the regular price if there’s no sale.
For importing/updating using extension, it’ll import the HTML which is the info you see on AliExpress page, that may include some one-time offer like Welcome Deal. You will see the price go back to normal (which is higher after removing the Welcome Deal) right after the first item purchase.
But it’s not the case with API, it returns the real price of the products.
So actually, the higher price after auto updating is the product initial price without AliExpress discount offer.
Issue Overview 2: Choice Delivery
It has come to our attention that when importing a product from AliExpress, the shipping info is not reflected correctly. E.g. where the shipping is listed as free, the item might be imported with a shipping price of $5. This results in an additional $5 being added to the product price on your website, making it more expensive than intended.
>> It’s because the item might have shipping discount offer “Choice Delivery” of AliExpress, which is related to AliExpress promotion and policy. While our plugin detects the original shipping fee, no other promotion applied.

Workaround:
To address the first pricing issue (price discrepancies) with Welcome Deal offer, we have introduced a manual sync option through API in response to similar user concerns. You can find the button to manually sync the API after importing a product with the “Welcome Deal” or “Choice” in the Imported page. For bulk syncing, simply schedule to sync in the Product Sync settings tab.
