Plugins don’t send emails? Why does this happen? And how to solve it?
Plugins can not send emails to customers? VillaTheme has plugins that have a feature to send email to customers. Example:
- WooCommerce Photo Review sends review request emails, coupons for review email.
- WooCommerce Lucky Wheel sends coupon email after successful spin.
But on some website, there is a problem that customers do not receive these emails.
So why does this problem happens?
In fact, these plugins do send emails but these emails usually are blocked by Gmail or another email service provider. You can use the free plugin WP Mail Logging to check if emails are sent (not recommended as this plugin often slows down sites, just install to check then uninstall it).
Then how to these email reach my customers?
You will need to use another emails server to send emails from your site to avoid this. Easy WP SMTP is a good choice as it’s free. With this free plugin, your emails will be sent fromĀ an SMTP server.
After successful install the Easy WP SMTP plugin, you will need to configure its back-end settings in order to make it works.
You can request your hosting provider for the SMTP details of your site. Use the SMTP details provided by your hosting provider to configure the settings.
