A strange item number is created when importing.

Hello,
When importing products from Shopify, are the products assigned an extra item number? It is created automatically when importing, I don’t want that, I would like to delete them all and import them again, how can I set it so that there is not an item number automatically is created? The product variants have their own item numbers and this marked item number does not exist on shopify.
