Add new added Attributes as Meta Fields

Hello,

how can I add newly created attributes to the meta fields? Attributes that were created some time ago appear in the Meta Fields. Attributes, which I have created only recently, I cannot find in the Meta Fields.
Do I have to add these attributes as Meta Fields somewhere? Does it take some time until they appear in the Meta Fields?
