API Sync – all products fail

    The product sync failed this morning with “every” product moving to out of stock.
    When I try and update again using the Sync API it still fails. If I update with the html Sync button then it works.
    I currently have 1,078 products and we are currently in the process of adding to the catalogue i.e. we are looking to add around another 600 today and tomorrow.
    The outcome is that every product on the website has gone to out of stock and therefore the webshop is empty with not a single product available.
    I will do a bulk update to make these in-stock so they re-appear. But of course, this could mean that some products that are genuinely out of stock will become visible and available for purchase on my site.
    Even if the API was now working, I don’t see a way of starting the full API re-sync and therefore to re-sync over a thousand products is likely going to take a long time. Am I correct that there isn’t a way of requesting another API r-sync and the site will have to wait until tomorrows scheduled one?
    Of course I’d like to understand why the API isn’t working. You have the access information from last weeks ticket.
