Can your plugin do this? Multi step

Hello,

I am trying to achieve the following:

1. Customer adds a product to their cart
2. Customer clicks on “checkout”
3. Customer gets prompted with a cross-sell, to add a drink or dessert to their food order
4. Customer accepts the cross-sell and the product gets added to the cart
5. Website proceeds to checkout
