CURCY automatic currency update not working

I am getting the message that ‘We are so sorry. Your key was expired in Dec 06th 2022 and You can not use Auto Update feature. Please renew or update this plugin manually at https://codecanyon.net/downloads’

Does this mean I need to pay for something? There’s no clear information on how I get this plugin to auto update currencies again.
