Currency conversion is not properly working

I’m using multi-currency switcher with Community Tickets. The price conversion is not properly working.

Here’s the issue:

My default currency is US dollars. When I create a paid ticket and I switch to another currency, instead of taking the ticket price on the form with the currency selected and saving that information, it first convert the ticket’s price on the form to the default currency and then convert the resulted amount to the selected currency.

To illustrate:

a) Normal expected behavior: price on the ticket form -> select currency -> save price and currency

b) Current and wrong behavior: price on the ticket form -> convert to default currency -> convert to selected currency -> save price and currency

Can you please tell me how I bypass the conversion to the default currency and just keep the price as is along with the selected currency?
