Default Variations

Hey!
There is a problem, many buyers do not understand that they need to select a product option.
They try to click on the “Add to Cart” button, but do not see any notifications that they need to do the selection of the option first.

Questions:
1. Is it possible to automatically select default variations in the plugin settings? For example, take the first of the list.
Perhaps you have code for function.php?

2. Can I turn on the display of notifications in the plugin settings that you need to select a product option first?
