Depend on Attributes

We had another business owner post about this plugin and suggested it to us for PC Building. The idea sounds great so we tested a few dummy products on their site but found an issue with the conditions. If we select PC Cases as Step 1 that has Form Factor attributes. Then motherboard for step 2, and depend on form factor – it works great. Motherboard has “Socket” and so does Processors. But the attribute doesnt show unless we remove PC Cases because the cases dont have socket attribute. But we dont need socket on cases because its unnecessary. Is this correct or are they missing a setting? We do not want to purchase if that is correct as it will not work if we want to add multiple steps that can only base off step 1
