Email template not working

Hi, I’m using Email template option for coupon email, when I select the template and click on ‘Save’ button, it submits and reloads the page but the dropdown still shows ‘none’ as selected after reload. It do save the dropdown value in the database – https://prnt.sc/Pjn5YtkPL7JQ. But when I approve a comment, it doesn’t load the template and just send the email from content field given. Please advice.
