I need a placeholder code to display the currency in emails and SMS/Whatsapp

I use order notifications plugins which uses SMS and WhatsApp to notify customers and us the seller about orders. Its nothing but a order notifier and an abandoned cart notifier. But, the issue is that the currency displayed inside these communication channels is displayed in default currency INR even though the order was placed in US$. To solve this issue i require that in the SMS or WhatsApp notification message i can include the switched currency symbol by using placeholder/tags/merge tags/ etc. So if a order total is mentioned as {order_currency} PRice for eg US$40.

Please help.
