I would like certain steps to be optional. how can I get that done?

So I have put the product builder to use on my site.

My developer had to modify it slightly as we were building an app too and needed to create api’s for it.

Anyways, my concern right now is, I would like to make certain steps optional, is that possible?

Or is there a way where I can add a product with 0 price ? so that way customer can opt out by click that product
