MedElevusParticipantI am experiencing an issue with the currency switching functionality in [CURCY – WooCommerce Multi Currency]. Despite configuring the settings correctly, the currency is not switching as expected on my WordPress website.
Issue Details:
Website URL: medelevus.com
Plugin Version: 2.2.6
WooCommerce Version: 9.6.2
WordPress Version: 6.7.2
Hosting Provider: Google Cloud (Bitnami WordPress)
Caching Plugin: LiteSpeed Cache
Theme: Astra
Problem Description:I have set up multiple currencies (USD and EGP) with automatic detection enabled based on user location. However, the currency does not switch properly in the following cases:
When users switch from USD to EGP, the price is displayed correctly on the course single page (e.g., 10 USD correctly converts to ~500 EGP). However, on the cart and checkout pages, the price remains the same numerical value but with the new currency symbol (e.g., instead of 10 USD converting to 500 EGP, it incorrectly shows as 10 EGP).
The currency switcher works fine on product pages but does not function correctly in the cart or checkout.
Current Plugin Settings:
Enable
Use Cache Plugin Option: Enabled
Loading price mask: Disabled
Currency Default: USD
Auto Detect Currency: Enabled – Auto select currency
Geo API: WooCommerce
Currency by Country Mapping: (USD for most countries, EGP for Egypt)
Pay in many currencies: Enabled
Currencies Bar: Enabled
Conditional Tags: is_page(array(656,14,655,4525,654,737)) || is_singular(‘lp_course’)
Use rel=”nofollow”: Disabled
Fixed Prices: Disabled
Rate Decimals: 5
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:Cleared cache and tested in incognito mode.
Disabled and re-enabled the plugin.
Checked the database for correct currency settings.
Deactivated all plugins.
Deactivated cloudflare
Rolled back to old plugin version
Changed from woocomerce cart block to shortcode
Tested with a default WordPress theme to rule out theme-related conflicts.
Expected Behavior:Prices should update accordingly based on the exchange rate.
I would appreciate your assistance in troubleshooting this issue. Please let me know if you need any additional information.Best regards,
Ibrahem Elzalabany
