krgkartParticipantHi,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to report an issue we have encountered with the product compatibility filtering on our “Build PC” page.
Recently, we received several complaints from customers regarding compatibility issues between motherboards and processors. To address this, we created three new attributes – “CPU Socket”, “Processor Series”, and “Processor Generation” and applied these attributes with product information/values to both motherboard and processor products (please check screenshots from 1 – 3). The goal was to allow customers to select their processor and view only compatible motherboard products at the next step.
However, we are experiencing the following issue: after selecting a processor, the filtered motherboard products do not appear as expected. Interestingly, if a user selects a non-compatible motherboard, an error message does appear (please check screenshot 4 ), but this is not the behavior we want. Our goal is to show only compatible products at every step of the build PC process, rather than displaying an error for incompatible selections.
After conducting thorough testing, we discovered that when multiple attributes are used for filtering (e.g., CPU Socket, Processor Series, and Processor Generation), the filter does not seem to work correctly. It appears that only a single attribute filter is being applied at each step, and combining multiple attributes results in showing incompatible products, too.
We would greatly appreciate your assistance in investigating this issue and helping us resolve it. Our goal is to ensure that only compatible products are shown to customers at each stage of the “Build PC” process.
We look forward to your prompt response and to finding a solution to this problem.

Select the processor: Intel Core i5-11400F 11th Generation Desktop Processor | BX8070811400F.
In Step 2, when selecting a motherboard, only the “MSI H510M-A PRO DDR4 Micro ATX Motherboard” should be displayed, as it is the only motherboard compatible with the 11th Gen processor. However, at present, all motherboards are being shown.
If the correct motherboard is selected, no error will appear. But if any other motherboard is selected, an error message will be displayed.
I hope this helps clarify the issue.
