Hergys HelmesiParticipantDear VillaTheme Support Team,
After updating WordPress and the CURCY – WooCommerce Multi Currency plugin to the latest version, I encountered a problem with URL encoding. Previously, the currency parameter in the URL appeared as ?wmc-currency=EUR. However, after the update, it now appears as ?wmc-currency=eur, where the characters ? and = are encoded in the URL.
example: https://swissfood.store/de/shop/zweifel-inferno-wellen-chips/?wmc-currency=EUR
This change caused problems with integrations that rely on the currency parameter in the URL, such as Google Merchant, which no longer correctly recognizes the currency parameter.
Steps taken:
Checking plugin settings: I went through the plugin settings to see if there was an option to control URL encoding, but could not find a relevant setting.
Clearing the cache: I cleared the site and browser cache to make sure the problem was not cache-related.
Request:
Could you please investigate this URL coding problem introduced in the last update? Any pointers or potential solution would be greatly appreciated, as I rely on this plugin to support multiple currencies on my WooCommerce store.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Hergy -
