mjrusso99ParticipantWe are using the WooCommerce Multi Currency Premium plugin (v2.1.11) and have it set to automatically assign currency based on the customer’s detected location.
However, there is a major error occurring, only when the customer is from Norway. A customer from Norway is initially correctly shown pricing in Norwegian Krone in our shop, but then once an item is added to the Cart the currency switches to USD (the default currency). So in the cart, they can only see the price in USD. What is worse, if they attempt to proceed with the Checkout, and go to PayPal Express, it tries to charge them way too much!
For example, if a customer is from Norway, one of our products correctly shows up in the store with price KR6,479, but then once added to cart it changes and shows up as $649. Then, if they try to checkout with PayPal Express, it wants to charge them $6,479! It is charging them the Krone KR price but in USD!
A customer from Norway reported the issue, which is how the issue is discovered. I am able to replicate the issue using a proxy server from Norway. I see shop pricing in KR, but once an item is added to cart it switches to USD, then if I proceed with PayPal Express checkout I am charged the KR price but in USD (so way too much).
When I test other locations like Germany (Euros), Japan (Yen), etc there is no issue seen like this. It only seems to happen with Norway.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks!
