Angela GreyModeratorDear Customer,
We hope you’re doing well. We wanted to inform you about one syncing issue we’re currently experiencing with the ALD plugin. This affects syncing via API. We’re actively working on resolving it, but here’s what you need to know and how you can manage in the meantime
- This issue doesn’t always happen with anyone. Due to an AliExpress API issue, the prices being returned are showing Welcome Deal prices instead of the original ones. If you’re using the API synchronization feature and notice that updated prices are significantly lower than the actual prices on AliExpress, this could be the cause of the problem. Unfortunately, this is an issue with AliExpress’s API, and we are unable to make any changes or modifications from our end. We simply display the data provided by their system without any alterations. We are actively trying to contact AliExpress’s support team to resolve this, but we have not received any response yet. Rest assured, we will continue our efforts and keep you updated on any progress.
- Temporary solutions: In the meantime, here are a few ways you could try to manage the issue:
- Use manual sync via the Chrome extension: Ensure you’re logged into your AliExpress account before syncing.
- Use the option “Use regular price”: This option is under Product Price setting tab. It will pull the regular price instead of the sale price. Keep in mind that the syncing feature doesn’t automatically detect whether to pull the sale or regular price, so for specific items, you may want to exclude them from the auto-sync price setup.
- Disable the “Sync price” option: You can manually update prices yourself or manually sync only the products that need price updates.
We appreciate your understanding as we work on resolving this.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Best regards.
