Problem with Slavic characters in Product Attributes replacement.

I am trying to translate attributes with the plugin, but when I save the translated word, I see unicode code number instead of the right character.

For example, I want to translate English word “green” to the word “zelená” (the last character “á” has extended ASCII code 160, Unicode is U+00e1). When I save it, the value I see is zelenu00e1.

The problem is then customer sees this code when choosing a product.

Would it be possible to fix it?
