Product List Variation Swatches Color Design Profile not Visible

Hello,

I am very happy with product page swatches on single page product detail pages. I am trying to show these color options on the product list page as well, but no colors are visible on the list page.

I have updated the product list page swatch settings to display the colors via the Variation Swatches and Global Attributes settings. These changes display color design swatch profiles but no colors fill in the color buttons.

Please advise how I can fix this whenever possible.
