Question about product sku

Hello See attached.

1) What happens if is remove {ali_product_id}.
2) Can you explain auto generate better please. Do i need to enter an number above first? what is the next sku going to be?

Currently my variation skus look like this: 12345678-china-8cm I don’t want the sku to include the word china (or other country)

If i replace the Attribute Ships From: China on product Attribute Page does it replace it in the sku as well?
