Question re Product Sync

Question re Product sync from Shopify to WC.

When sync’ing back variation attributes, what exactly does this sync back? I cannot see any detail in the documentation that tells me what attributes are changed in woocommerce (from shopify).

Can you please confirm?

To sync inventory for a variation, do you need to enable variation attributes sync, or is that covered with just the inventory option.
