Review Form from Shortcode

I would like to reduce the default paragraph space that customers have to write their review (none will write that much!) – how do I do this?

Also, using the shortcode the stars are already pre-filled in as 5-stars. Is there a way to have them default to zero filled in so the customer has to select?
