dkbeansParticipantCustomer address not imported from Shopify to WooCommerce (S2W) despite correct API response
Hello VillaTheme Support,
I am experiencing an issue with the S2W – Import Shopify to WooCommerce plugin. I have thoroughly analyzed the documentation, reviewed my Shopify plan and API settings, and performed several tests, but the customer address is still not imported into WooCommerce.
Here are the details:
Shopify plan: Advanced (active, not Basic or Starter)
App type: Custom app (created directly in Shopify admin)
API permissions: read_customers (and others as required)
WooCommerce & S2W: Both are up to date
Tested customer: Has a default address set in Shopify
Import settings: No options to exclude addresses, no filters enabled
What I did:
I created a new customer in Shopify with a complete default address.
I confirmed that the address appears in Shopify’s admin and in the CSV export.
I used an online API tool (ReqBin) to test the Shopify API directly with my access token and the customer ID.
The API response includes the full default_address object with all address fields
I then ran the import in S2W. The customer is imported into WooCommerce, but all billing and shipping address fields are empty. Only the name, email, and phone are imported.I checked the WooCommerce logs and usermeta table – address fields are not saved
Summary:
Shopify API returns the correct address data.
S2W does not import or map these address fields to WooCommerce, even though all other customer data is imported correctly.
I could not find any relevant settings in the plugin or documentation that would cause this.
I have checked forums, reviews, and documentation, but did not find similar issues reported.
Could you please investigate this issue? Is there anything else I should check, any settings to enable or is this a known bug?
