Sorting colorswatches by Term-id doesn’t work

Hi,
i experience trouble with sorting the colors in the right order.

in the webshop there are make-up products.

1 is foundation: https://beautysalon-jolanda.nl/product/perfect-cover-make-up/
this comes in 4 colours.
ultralight, light, medium and dark.
i would like the colors to display in that order horizontally.

the property name is “colour(s)/kleur(en) and in the backend i set the sorting order to term-id. i also put the colours in the right order in the variation tab of the product itself.

nothing changes….it always displays the colours in alphabetic order…..wich really annoys customers….

Can you help me out?
