Swatches not showing up in widget

I added the filter widget to my sidebar but the color attributes are still shown as text.
I use the “Filter Products by Attribute” widget. The “Display type” is set to “List”.
And the “Global Attribute” has the display type “color” and the “woo filter widget” is enabled.
I installed a different theme and it’s not showing up either.
