The correct way to import variable products (Aliexpress) to simple products(Woo)

You are getting Invalid order items or system errors when fulfilling aliexpress’s orders on WooCommerce. This error is caused by your incorrect configuration when importing products at the initial time.

You would import variation products, then corrected them to simple products. Therefore, you could not fulfill the orders because they did not have the same product type, and got Invalid order items or system error.

This Knowledge Base will guide you on how to switch variable products on Aliexpress to simple products on WooCommerce Website with some simple steps.

There are two ways to import variables to simple products with Aliexpress Dropshipping and Fulfillment for WooCommerce.

A. THE FIRST WAY: Remove attributes

Step 1: Import variable products.

Select variable products you want and click on the “+” button to import. You can see how to import Aliexpress products here.

Step 2: Remove attributes

Go to Import List > Attributes, click on the delete button to remove attributes.

Step 3: Remove images of the removed variations.

Go to Import List > Gallery, tick the image of the remained variation, untick the images of the removed variation.

Step 4: Click the Import now button to import product to WooCommerce store.

After clicking the Import now button, the variable products will be converted to the simple products with the selected default variation value.

B. THE SECOND WAY: Select a default variation for the generated simple product.
Step 1: Configure in the Product tab of this plugin setting.

Before importing variable products, do a configuration in the Product tab. Enable the “Import as simple product” option and save.

Step 2: Import variable products.

Select variable products you want and click on the “+” button to import. You can see how to import Aliexpress products here.

Step 3: Select a default variation for the generated simple product.

+ Select a default variation: Go to the Import List > Variations, select a variation as the default value.

Note: The generated simple product will only have the selected variation, the other variations will be removed out of product.

Step 4: Remove images of the removed variations.

Go to Import List > Gallery, tick the image of the remained variation, uptick the images of the removed variation.

Step 5: Click the Import now button to import product to WooCommerce store.

After clicking the Import now button, the variable products will be converted to the simple products with the selected default variation value.

Note: If you import variable products on Aliexpress, and then customize these variable products to simple products in the WooCommerce product page, in this case you also can not fulfill the order of these products.
