expired token – API sync still activates with wrong data

Situation:
the token has expired (I don’t know if it was halfway through the scan!)
the fact is that all the products have been synchronized and 90% of the products have been marked offline (when they are active).

Plugin update request:

I wanted to ask the developers:
can you put a check that if the token has expired it does not synchronize non-existent/incorrect data.
And an expired token email would also be nice.
