Unable to impor Gallery photos

I used to successfully import products with gallery and I had my server overwhelmed with many imports yesterday. Now I can see the gallery photos on the import list, yet they are not imported and nothing shows on the failed images.

I’m also having this message that I cannot dismiss since yesterday:

AliExpress Dropshipping and Fulfillment for WooCommerce: Product images are still being processed in the background, please do not edit products/go to product edit page until all images are processed completely.
