Variation images not show if attributes are manually changed

Hi, what I find like a problem now is this

Variation images not show if attributes are manually changed

and what I mean is when I importing a product, but I want to change the NAME of the attribute, because when they came from AliExpress are a bug mess.

For example a product automatically came with Color attribute, but the product is USB charger and don’t have color, but have different Plug Type and if I change only the name of this attribute in the import page from Color to Plug Type in the Product page not show the Variation image (the cropped small image) when I inspect the page, it try to load woocommerce-placeholder-100×100.png from Uploads.

If I not change any attribute the images load correctly and if I inspect the page it show correct source of the exact image.

I also try to add the correct images trough Product edit page, but still not show on the Product page….

I really would like to can change the attributes manually, because if I use the original it’s make a huge mess in my pages…
