Variation Swatches affecting undesired products

I purchased this plug-in so that for some of the products that I offer, the image displayed will change to the image assigned to each variation when selected. These specific products are clothing products. For example, I sell children’s clothing and have two ways to shop.
Option 1: Customer will select which clothing type they wish to purchase first, then will select from variations size and print desired. I set up this plug-in so that the displayed image will change when a variation of print is selected. So it works for this as I wish for it to.
Option 2: Customer will select print they wish to purchase first, then will select from variations size and clothing type desire. For this type of shopping, the plug-in purchased was not required.

When I first set the plug-in up, all was working fine and how I need it to. However, now when the plug-in is active, it does not, and on the option to shop by selecting print first, the variations on these products do not show the drop down menu.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?
