Website fails to load correctly unless Photo Reviews is disabled

We have Photo Reviews shortcodes embedded inside pop-up scripts that have worked perfectly for two years. Suddenly after the latest round of plugin updates (including yours) it takes over 2 minutes for these product pages to load. I’ve enabled a staging server where they are enabled, but we had to disable Photo Reviews on the live site, just to function.

If you click Reviews or Leave Review you will just see the short codes in the pop-up right now. So I’m sharing staging server login details below, where the plugin has been enabled.
