m-4485ParticipantHi there, I’m trying to use the some of the native WooCommerce email variables and merge tags on the new account email template, as described here: https://woocommerce.com/document/email-variables-and-merge-tags/ For example, I’d like to use {customer_first_name} or {customer_name} to create a simple “Hi {customer_first_name}, thanks for …”, like on most welcome emails. I’m trying to use this tag as suprisingly I cannot find anything like on the shortcode dropdown, only the user login, password and email. First name and Last name are mandatory on our website. I see on the docs that it is possible to create custom shortcodes but It doesn’t make much sense when there is already a native merge tag for doing that. Also, i think there is some misunderstanding on the docs and the plugin interface about what a shortcode is, I think this should be called merge tag or variable instead of shortcode. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance Marc
