Wrong conversion in checkout page

m having an issue when i enable Change currency follow billing address or shipping address..

when i select a country other than me default currency country it only changes the Currency Symbol but the amount stays the same ..

it only works 100% fine when i enable Sync checkout currency but this option refreshes the page when they change the country which i dont like ..

is there any fix for this?

if u can see for example if u select bahrain country the price is 33BD which is correct then u go to select qatar it shows 33QR which is wrong it should be 330 .. if i go and select 3rd country and go back to qatar it shows 330 which is correct ..
