Bot currency not working

I have a few currencies configured on my Website and the option “Currency by country”, different URLs per currency on and it’s working.
However, I set the Bot currency to my main currency (which is GBP and runs on the base path of /) but google is still seeing the redirect.

Curling the url shows this clearly:
curl -v --user-agent "Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.google.com/bot.html)" https://williamwoodwatches.com/

This is heavily affecting our international users because they should always land on the / and then be redirect to their respective country, but are being sent to /en-us.
