Bulk edit product attribute..

Can you apply a current product attribute to multiple products at once? Alternatively create the custom product attribute again within your plugin and then apply? Basically we have a client who wants to move a product category to a attribute. As nearly 600 of them, wanted to avoid having to open each one as cannot bulk edit in WooCommerce. As they currently have a category assigned to them I can easily filter down the list with your fields select add attribute to products, choose the attribute, add, then choose the values and apply. When I save it only seems to do one of them.
